Design Assistant:

• Position:

  • Interior Design Assistant (Residential) at Moira Daley Design 

  • Western Suburbs, IL

  • Part time  20-30 hours per week  

• Qualifications

  • Degree in Interior Design

  • 1-3 years of luxury residential design experience

  • Possess a curated design sensibility

  • Excellent graphic skills (e.g., Sketching, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of luxury furnishings resources

  • Detail oriented and experience in Designer Accounting and Project Management Software

  • Must be extremely organized and able to prioritize competing project demands 

  •  Possesses a client service mentality

  • Polished and professional communicator

• Responsibilities

  • Ability to create and contribute to design presentations including sourcing materials, producing CAD drawings floor plans, elevations, custom millwork 

  • Project management 

  • Organize meetings and presentations

  • Produce Client  proposals, budgets, drawings, etc. 

  • Interact with Vendors to source products, obtain sample materials, request quotes and track   ordered items

  • Assist with product installations and photoshoots

  • Moira Daley Design is a luxury interior design firm specializing in residential interior design, new build and remodel projects. We seek a talented,organized, and passionate interior design assistant to join our team. Successful candidates will work directly with the Firm’s principle participating and learning all aspects of a successful residential interior design firm.

  • Salary -Interior Design Assistant

  • $30–$ 40 per hour- 25-30 hours per week
